The ASCO 8221G007,24/DC is a 2/2 normally closed, general service slow closing solenoid valve with a(n) 1" pipe size, 24/DC voltage, brass body material, 1" orifice, and 11.5 Cv Flow. The snubber slows disc closing speed to protect system against water hammer damage more effectively than other techniques. Pressure spike due to water hammer is reduced to a point eliminating the need for suppressors or other controls in most water systems.
