The Winters Instruments SSN518 is a(n) SSN model pressure snubber with a 316 stainless steel body & insert material, 1/4" NPT connection, 60,000 psi max pressure, and can service water, steam, gasoline, and light oils.
Winters pressure snubbers reduce the pulsation by forcing the pressure medium through a porous metal core. This improves the consistency and readability of the gauge reading. It can also help extend the life of your instrument. Pressure snubbers are installed between the process and the pressure instrument, by tightening the threaded connections into place.
