- Diaphragm: PTFE-faced (chemical service), EPDM, Buna-N, Viton. Wetted body and check valves: PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, and PVDF for chemicals; stainless 316 for high pressure and temperature. Hastelloy for the worst corrosive service. Always check chemical compatibility for both the diaphragm and the body separately; the diaphragm is often the limiting material.
